2019 BTRDA Calendar

The BTRDA is very pleased to confirm the calendar for the 2019 BTRDA Rally Series which will continue to be sponsored by JORDAN Road Surfacing. It includes a great selection of one-day forest events, starting with the Cambrian Rally in North Wales in February and finishing at the end of September with the Trackrod Forest Stages in North Yorkshire. The final points table will be based on each competitor’s best 5 scores, providing some flexibility to fit around family or business commitments...

Ollie Mellor and Max Freeman win the Visit Conwy Cambrian Rally

Ollie Mellor and his co-driver Max Freeman were the surprise winners of the 63rd Cambrian Rally which roared off from Llandudno this morning. But the victory was not an easy one with their Proton Iriz R5 suffered a puncture in the penultimate stage of the competition which saw drivers tackle seven difficult stages including stunning forest sections. Worldwide TV deal for the Cambrian Rally

The organisers of the Pirelli MSA Welsh Forest Rally Championship have confirmed that coverage of all nine rounds of the series will be broadcast on TV as well as being available on demand and on-line. Leading motorsport TV production company Special Stage will be filming every event for inclusion in their weekly Rally Review programme to be broadcast by Front Runner TV. The subscription free channel is available both on Sky and on Freesat.

On behalf of North Wales Car Club and the organising team of the Cambrian Rally, I would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the marshals, radio crews, safety/medical crews, recovery teams, and the car park operators who braved and battled the weather to get to their positions on SS 1 to enable us to run the stage in such terrible conditions....

Cambrian Rally confirmed to go ahead

After a few worrying days after loosing so much mileage the Cambrian Rally team are pleased to say the event will run. A big thank you to all the AM's and media people who have helped to make this happen. Busy day working things out with NRW to try and secure enough mileage to run the event.
