Become a Lewis & Hunter Cambrian Rally Marshal

We’re always on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers to join our marshal team at the Lewis & Hunter Cambrian Rally. Marshals play a vital role in the safe and successful running of the event — not only on the forest stages, but also in key areas such as refuelling, the service park, and other operational locations.

Whether you’re an experienced marshal or completely new to rallying, we’d love to have you involved.

Motorsport UK Accreditation

All marshals are ideally required to be Motorsport UK accredited. If you’re already accredited, that’s great — just make sure your details are up to date when you register.

If you’re new to marshalling, don’t worry. Motorsport UK accreditation is straightforward and free to apply for. It provides essential training, insurance cover, and ensures everyone is working to the same safety standards. First-time marshals are very welcome.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need previous marshalling experience? No — experience is not essential. New marshals are welcome and will be supported by experienced team members on the day.

What roles can I volunteer for? Marshals are needed on forest stages, in the service park, at refuelling areas, and in other operational roles.

Do I need Motorsport UK accreditation? Yes, all marshals must be Motorsport UK accredited. If you’re not already accredited, you can apply for free and complete the process before the event.

What should I bring with me? You should bring suitable outdoor clothing and footwear, food and drink for the day, and your Motorsport UK marshal registration card.
