Lewis & Hunter Contracting Ltd has once again confirmed its support for one of Wales’ most iconic motorsport events, renewing its sponsorship deal with the Cambrian Rally for another year.

The Ruthin-based company, led by Rally Driver Hugh Hunter, continues its long-standing relationship with the event as preparations build for the 71st edition of the Cambrian Rally, taking place this October across the forests and roads of North Wales.

A respected name within the region, Lewis & Hunter has become closely associated with the rally over recent years, supporting an event that attracts competitors and spectators from across the UK while bringing significant economic and tourism benefits to the area.

Hugh Hunter said:

“We’re proud to continue supporting the Cambrian Rally. It’s an event with a huge history in North Wales and one that means a lot to the local community, motorsport fans and businesses alike. Reaching the 71st Cambrian is a fantastic achievement and we’re delighted to be involved once again.”

Organised by the North Wales Car Club, the Cambrian Rally has built a national reputation as one of the UK’s premier rally events, combining world-class stages with the unique backdrop of North Wales landscapes and communities.

This year’s event is expected to attract another strong entry, with the ceremonial start and finish once again taking place on Llandudno Promenade, creating a major focal point for fans and visitors.

Event organisers welcomed the continued backing from Lewis & Hunter Contracting Ltd, recognising the importance of local business support in helping the rally grow and evolve.

A spokesperson for the Cambrian Rally said:

“Hugh and the team at Lewis & Hunter have been fantastic supporters of the rally and we’re incredibly grateful to have them on board again for 2026. Their support plays a vital role in helping us deliver an event of this scale and quality, particularly as we celebrate such a significant milestone year.”

The Cambrian Rally takes place on Saturday 25 October 2026, with further event announcements and spectator information to be released in the coming months.
