The Rallynuts Stages Rally (formerly known as the Severn Valley Stages) is one of the most popular stage rallies in the UK and has been a favourite with rally competitors since the early 1970’s. Over the years the Severn Valley has been a round of the Welsh National Stage Rally Championship, Clubman’s Championship and Historic Championship.
Various name, date and location changes ensued over the decades that followed until support from partners Rallynuts Motorsport Ltd, saw the event change its name to Rallynuts Stages Rally in 2018. Rallynuts UK is a diverse community of rally enthusiasts who share a passion for one of the most exciting and challenging forms of motorsport and bringing together fans, drivers, and teams from all over the UK.
The Builth Wells Rally Stages are one of the most exciting rally events in the United Kingdom. Located in the beautiful Welsh countryside, the route provides an exhilarating experience for rally enthusiasts and competitors alike. The Royal Welsh Showground Rally HQ is situated near the town of Builth Wells in Powys, Wales. The stages are renowned for its challenging twists and turns, with a mix of tight corners, fast straights, and technical sections that test the skills of even the most experienced drivers.
One of the standout features of Rallynuts is its location. Set against the backdrop of the beautiful Welsh countryside, offering breath-taking views of the surrounding hills and valleys. This not only makes for a stunning setting but also adds an extra level of challenge for drivers as they navigate the winding roads and changing elevations.
Competitors can expect a unique and unforgettable experience as they navigate gravel stages through the forests around Builth Wells. Known for their challenging nature the Builth Wells stages consist of narrow, twisting roads and plenty of jumps and bumps. The weather in the area can also be unpredictable, with rain and fog often adding to the difficulty of the stages making them some of the most demanding and exciting in the UK.
This will be Bowler’s first rally with Rallynuts and the The Bowler Team are excited to be attending the 49th running of this Midland Manor Motor Club organised event that has widely been recognised as a key stage rally in the British calendar. A lot of preparation has gone into getting the Bowler Defenders ready for the event and it will be the first gravel rally for some of our competitors, putting the training given by our experienced team to the test, and the challenging stages faced by all competitors include Myherin and Sweet Lamb forests which will test competitors to the limit throughout the 44-mile course.
