Q. When is the closing date for entries?
A. Closing date at standard fee is 29 January. Final closing date is 7 February but at extra cost. Entries received after 29 January will not be seeded so not on the published entry list or programme. Such entries will carry a high number but start in appropriate seeded position.
Q. If I enter now but later have to cancel what will happen to my entry fee?
A. If you’ve paid by cheque and cancel before the closing date we simply will not bank the cheque. If you’ve paid by Paypal or Bank Transfer we well refund by whatever method you choose (Paypal – note charges, Bank Transfer – we would need your bankdetails, or cheque). If you cancel after the "standard" closing date (29 January) we reserve the right to deduct a token amount before refunding, but will not be more than £30. Note that all cancellations must be in writing – e-mail acceptable.
Q. I’ve entered online and said I’d pay by cheque, when do I have to send it?
A. Ideally post it straight away so that you don’t forget – it will be held until the closing date before we bank it! If you’ve not paid by 29th January we will remind you by e-mail to send a cheque (or pay by BACS) before 3rd February.
Q. What OS maps are the stages using?
A. The stages can be found on OS Maps 115, 116 and 125
Q. What is the class running order?
A. The running order will be conventional, in accordance with R24.1.4"
Q. Which stages are being run twice?
A. Stages 1 and 2 are repeated as stages 5 and 6.
Q. Are we getting Pine Lodge Maps in the Management Packs?
A. The management book has been produced by Pine Lodge and should be ordered when entering. However, if you need a Competitors Map Book, this will need to be ordered direct from Pine Lodge.
